Mr. Darcy

Sable – shades of brown from pale blonde to deep mahogany ending with black.

Collie – The elegant and graceful collie herds and alerts the shepherd to any danger his flock may be into.
The collie doesn’t save the lost hurt lamb – it alerts the shepherd to it.

Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Dog – there are negative and positive metaphors for the dog. I usually side on the idea that dogs are man’s best friend. But they can also be fearful and mean. The breed and coloring should be considered.
