Divine Strength and Grace

Divine Strength and Grace

October 14, 2024

2 Corinthians 12:8-9  Paul pleaded with the Lord three times to take it (the thorn in his side) away from him but God told him, "My grace is all you need, because my power is perfected in weakness."   Therefore, I will most happily boast about my weaknesses, so that The Messiah's power may rest on me.  That is why I take such pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for the Messiah's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Grace signifies the good-will of God toward me and that is enough to encourage, enlighten and enliven me to persevere, and fight the good fight, run the race and overcome.

His grace is enough to strengthen and comfort me in all afflictions and distresses.
