There Can Be No True Peace Without Grace
November 1, 2024
Galatians 1:3-5 May grace and peace from Gou our Father the Lord Jesus, The Messiah be yours! He gave Himself for our sins in order to rescue us from this present evil age according to the will of our God and Father. To Him be the glory forever and ever!
Grace = God's good-will towards us and His good work upon us.
Peace = All that inward comfort or outward prosperity, which is daily needed.
Grace and peace come from God the Father by way of the Fountain of Jesus Christ. There can be no true peace without grace. Jesus gave Himself for our sins to make atonement for us for the power of sin is so great that it could not by any other way, be put away except the Son of God be given for it.
By Him we are redeemed from the wrath of God and set free from wickedness that naturally enslaves us.
Galatians 1:4 Who gave Himself for our sins
Never forget what Jesus the Messiah suffered for our sins. The One who is the Eternal Son of the Father, who was with The Father before all times, yet stooped in infinite grace to become man. As man He did not cease to be God. He is God and man in one glorious person, perfect, so that He could pay the debt that we owe to God.
It is settled.
Questions:
- How shall men be just with God?
- If one has been justified by faith, ow is he maintained in that place before God?
- what is that power by which men are made just and by which they live?
Answers:
- Romans 1:17 For in the gospel God's righteousness is being revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
- Galatians 3:11 Now it is obvious that no one is justified in the sight of God by the Law, because "The just shall live by faith."
- Hebrews 10:38 but my righteous one will live by faith, and if he turns back, my sou will take no pleasure in him.
