What is the secret of strength? Where can power be found to avoid the failures and short comings of the past?
The Joy of the Lord
- Joy is based on forgiveness.
- Joy is nourished in Affliction
- have a calm, quiet serenity in every situation
- have a life that is radiant and joyful even when affliction is deep
- bear affliction triumphantly so that the joy of the Lord is revealed
John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full - Joy is dependent upon obedience
- Jesus' joy came from doing what God sent Him to do. Doing God's will and obeying God's command - these are the things that bring joy.
