Faith, Fervency and Earnestness

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ - the Messiah. I no longer live, but the Messiah lives in me. And the life that I am now living in this body I live by the faithfulness of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Faith is fastened upon Jesus Christ giving Himself for us. If I have true faith I must live by that faith. The grace of faith is most holy as it works by love, purifies the heart and overcomes the world.
I want to be fruitful. I want to be effective. Worldly cares are hindering me such as trust in money, things, people...all of this chokes out God's word applied to my heart. Spiritual understanding is a dimension of the heart which, when cleared of stones and thorns (Hebrews 6:8) prayers prevail with faith, fervency and earnestness.
Jude 20 continue to build your most holy faith for your own benefit. Furthermore, continue to pray in the Holy Spirit.
The Parable of the Farmer
Matthew 13:19-23 When anyone hears the word of the word about the kingdom yet doesn't understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on the stony ground this is the person who hears the word and accepts it joyfully at once, but since he doesn't have any root in himself, he lasts for only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes along because of the word, he immediately falls away. As for what was sown among the thorn bushes, this is the person who hears the word, but the worries of life and the deceitful pleasures of wealth choke the word so that it can't produce a crop. But as for what was sown on good soil, this is the person who hears the word, understands it, and produces a crop that yields 100, 60, or 30 times what was sown.
A heart that lacks understanding is vulnerable to becoming unproductive. The understanding spoken of in the Parable of the Farmer is the application of the Word on a person's heart. I will bear fruit when I apply the Word of God to my life.
