Gospel Truth: The Way, The Truth, and The Life

John 14:6 Jesus told him (Thomas), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."The Gospel in a Nutshell
Jesus did not come to show us the way, teach us the truth, and give us the life, though He does all of this. He *is* the way to God, the Truth of God, and the Life in God.
The exclusiveness of this claim may hinder those who are supposedly searching for truth, or who desire a different kind of life, some other way. It is probably the main reason why others persecute Christians. Nevertheless, one cannot be a Christian and believe otherwise, for "there is none other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved" Acts 4:12
Christians are not unloving when they try to win others to Christ, for they know that all people are eternally lost without Him.
The Way
Jesus is not just a person who shows the way, but He, personally, is the way. No church or ceremony can bring you to God. Only Jesus Christ can bring you to God. He is the Way
The Truth
He is the very touchstone of truth.
He is the truth, fulfilling all the prophecies of a Savior, believing that sinners come to Him by the Way.
The Life
He isn't simply stating that He is alive. He is the source, the origin of life from the lowest vegetable plane of life to the highest spiritual plane of life.
"No man comes unto the Father, but by Me"
He is the Life, by whose life-giving Spirit the dead in sin are quickened.
One cannot draw nigh to God as a Father, who He does not quicken as the Life, and taught by Him as the Truth, to come by Him as the Way.
