 t that girds all the other pieces of our armor to our soul and is mentione
 d first for that reason. The ultimate truth is found in God's Word. We mus
 t know this truth well to protect ourselves from deceptive lies\, the worl
 d\, and even our wrong thinking. Truth is a compass that gives discernment
 .</p>\n<p>The Word of God is the truth and the good news for our salvation
 .</p>\n<p>Ephesians 1:13 You\, too\, have heard the Word of truth\, the go
 spel of your salvation. When you believed in the Messiah\, you were sealed
  with the promised Holy Spirit.</p>\n<p>The Word of truth is the belt of t
 he Mind.</p>\n<p>Acts 17:11 [The Bereans] were more receptive than those i
 n Thessalonica. They were very willing to receive the message\, and every 
 day they carefully examined the Scriptures to see if those things were so.
 </p>\n<p>Like the Bereans\, apply yourself seriously to the study of the W
 ord and receive it with a ready mind and open heart.</p>\n<p>Embrace Truth
  with Sincerity</p>\n<p>1 Timothy 1:5 The goal of this instruction is love
  that flows from a pure heart\, from a clear conscience\, and a sincere fa
 ith.</p>\n<p>God's purposes involve sincere faith. If He has freely given 
 us the truth\, He will provide a hand to hold on to it. Cherish His truth 
 and courageously profess it.</p>\n<p>Philippians 1:10-11 That you may be a
 ble to choose what is best and be sincere and without offense until the da
 y when the Messiah returns\, having been filled with the fruit of righteou
 sness that comes through Jesus the Messiah so that God will be glorified a
 nd praised.</p>\n<p>Hold firmly to His Truth.</p>\n<p>Hebrews 10:23 Let us
  continue to hold firmly to the hope that we confess without wavering\, fo
 r the one who made the promise is faithful.</p>\n<p>Fight the Good Fight f
 or Truth</p>\n<p>1 Timothy 6:11 But you\, man of God\, must flee from all 
 these things. Instead\, you must pursue righteousness\, godliness\, faithf
 ulness\, love\, endurance\, and gentleness.</p>\n<p>Romans 10:10 For one b
 elieves with his heart and is justified\, and declares with his mouth and 
 is saved.</p>\n<p>To have our loins girt about with truth gives the empowe
 rment and holy boldness from heaven to draw forth the Word of the Spirit a
 nd go onward\, ready to conquer the enemy. Be continually filled with the 
 love of God\, and love for His truth will become your heart's desire. Stan
 d\, unshaken\, in the faith of God's truth against the enemy. Meditate on 
 God and His Word\, and the mysterious truths of the gospel will open up to
  you as streams turn to rivers and rivers turn to seas.</p>\n
