 ged sword\, piercing until it divides soul and spirit\, joints and marrow\
 , as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart.</p>\n<p>The Holy Sc
 riptures are the Word of God. When God helps me understand the unpleasantn
 ess of my heart through His Spirit\, it convinces powerfully\, converts po
 werfully\, and comforts me powerfully. His Word humbles the proud and make
 s meek the perverse. Sinful habits that have become natural to the soul an
 d rooted deeply in it are separated and cut off by this sword. It will dis
 cover my thoughts and purposes\, my capacity for vileness\, and the wrong 
 principles I am motivated by. The Word will show me all that is in my hear
 t.</p>\n<p>Psalm 19:12 Who can detect his own mistake? Cleanse me from hid
 den sin.</p>\n<p>This step is a faith choice\, a non-feeling choice\, a ch
 oice I make out of obedience\, not out of my feelings. God will align my f
 eelings to match the choices along the way. And then the new behavior will
  be genuine\, not a mask.<br />\nNo matter what I think\, how I feel\, or 
 the horrible circumstances I find myself in\, God is working out His purpo
 ses in my life in His perfect way\, and He will never allow anything to ha
 ppen to me that is not Father-filtered.</p>\n
