Galatians 5:25  Since we live by the Spiri t\, by the Spirit let us be guided.

I am engaged in a conflict in which I earnestly desire that grace may bring me to a full and speedy vict ory against the corrupt nature which remains in me - that it would not hav e dominion over me.

Galatians 5:19-21 gives a whole daunting list of actions that can inhibit us from inheriting the Kingdom of God.  Are w e not all doomed then?

Galatians 5:16  So I say\, live by the Spi rit and you will never fulfill the desires of the flesh.

Romans 6: 12 Do not let sin rule your mortal bodies so that you obey their desires.

\n

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their min ds on the things of the flesh\, but those who live according to the Sprit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

I can never attain to a perfect newness of life in my own strength\, but if I am yielded to the Holy Spirit of God and allow Him to make these things real in my life\, I may cherish and cultivate Jesus Christ living in me\, manifesting His lif e\, His holy life\, in and through the members of my body.
