 <p>This was also the sure teaching of the Lord Jesus Himself.<br />\nJohn 
 10:35 \"...the Scripture cannot be broken\"</p>\n<p>Matthew 5:18 \"because
  I tell all of you with certainty that until heaven and earth disappear\, 
 not one letter or one stroke of a letter will disappear from the law until
  everything has been accomplished.</p>\n<p>There is no doubt that Jesus an
 d the apostles believed the Old Testament Scriptures to be the divinely in
 spired\, infallible\, inerrant\, and authoritative Word of God. They frequ
 ently quoted and referred to these scriptures\, always demonstrating absol
 ute confidence in their accuracy and integrity.</p>\n<p>The Old Testament 
 comprises 39 books accepted as divinely inspired and thus considered part 
 of the canon of Scripture. There is every indication internally that each 
 of these books was accepted as infallibly authoritative right from the tim
 e each was written. They were accepted as such not only by Jesus and His a
 postles but also by the Pharisee sect and most of the rank and file of His
  day (the Sadducees accepted only the Pentateuch)</p>\n<p>The testimonies 
 of Jesus\, Paul\, Peter\, and others affirm that the Old Testament is trul
 y \"God-breathed\" and should be fully accepted as the Word of God.</p>\n<p>The written Word of God\, conveying its powerful message of creation\, r
 edemption\, and the promise of eternal life with God\, has always faced ch
 allenges from the secular world and the unseen forces of darkness that inf
 luence it. However\, God has laid out a wonderful plan of salvation and ev
 erlasting joy for all who respond to His call\, trust in His Word\, and ac
 cept His incarnate Son as their Savior and Lord.</p>\n
