Colossians 1:15-20 The Son is the image of
the invisible God\, the firstborn of all creation.
\nFor by Him\, all
things in heaven and on earth were created\, things visible and invisible
\, whether they are kings\, lords\, rulers\, or powers.
\nAll things
have been created through Him and for Him.
\nHe Himself existed befor
e anything else did\, and He holds all things together.
\nHe is also
the head of the body\, which is the church.
\nHe is the beginning\, t
he firstborn from the dead so that He Himself might have first place in ev
erything.
\nFor God was pleased to have all of His divine essence inh
abit Him.
\nThrough the Son\, God also reconciled all things to Himse
lf\, whether things on earth or things in heaven\, thereby making peace th
rough the blood of His cross.
For by Him\, all things in heaven an d on earth were created. Coming into the world as Man. His is the glory of the Firstborn because He is the Creator \"from days of eternity.\" Mica h 5:2
\nThe Only Begotten\, the one who has made God known to us.
\nJohn 1:14 The word was made flesh and dwelt among us\, and we beheld
His glory\, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father\, full of gra
ce and truth.
\nJohn 1:18 No one has ever seen God. The only begotten
Son\, close to the Father's side\, has revealed Him.
\nJohn 3:16 For
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son\, that whosoeve
r believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
\nJohn
3:18 He that believes in Him is not condemned\, but He that believes not
is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only b
egotten Son of God.
\n1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of G
od toward us\, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world\
, that we might live through Him.
Firstborn

r whom He did foreknow\, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the i
mage of His Son\, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

m our sins in His own blood.\, and has made us kings and priests unto God
and His Father\; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen
He holds all things together
\nHis hand controls the stars and th e planets as well as the laws of the universe. How great is His grace\, an d yet how low did He stoop for our salvation!
\nMaking peace through the blood of His cross
\nGod made His soul an offering for sin and accomplished the great work of redemption for which He came. Having been d elivered for our offenses\, He was raised again for our justification.
\nIn these verses\, the finite mind realizes the inability to comprehen d the mysteries of His character. Here is truth to ponder\, to stir the so ul to worship and thanksgiving. Consider the glory from which Jesus came a nd the glory that He had with the Father in all eternity in order to bring us into the knowledge of God.
\nSee the glory of this plan for rede mption and rejoice in the hope set before us. God's love for us is immense \, and I am convinced that I should live more for Him just as He died for me.
