Do You Believe Everything You Hear?
I just found this great website called FactCheck: Annenberg Political Fact Check. Their goal is to hold politicians accountable for statements they make.
Here’s one for you: last month Obama said:”if we went back to the obesity rates that existed back in 1980, we’d save the system $1 trillion.” According to factcheck it’s more like $19 billion.
The most recent post points out some exaggerations and misstatements from Obama’s evening news conference last week.
