Cleanse your Conscience
Luke 11:4 Forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us.
Prayer is a major and crucial factor in healing troubled relationships. The Lord’s Prayer calls for us to cleanse our conscience. By doing this we will experience a sense of peace and reconciliation of ourselves with God and with one another. Cleanse the emotional clutter, which takes a destructive toll on our entire being, through prayer.
Fear and guilt are emotional demons that eventually lead to painful physical illnesses such as rapid heart beat, headaches, tension, digestive upsets and more. If fear and guilt are not dealt with mental symptoms such as depression, anxiety, panic, bitterness and insecurity will haunt the soul.
Note: Some emotional and mental symptoms may be a result of actual physical issues such as PMS, menopause or other conditions. Be sure to research all possibilities.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
I know it is hard to grasp the simplicity of praying to rid ourselves of fear and guilt. The simple words – Forgive us our sins. But God promises to forgive us with only one condition. We must forgive those who have sinned against us. Maybe that part is not so simple but when you understand the blessings forgiveness can bring to your life emotionally, physically and mentally, forgiveness is well worth the effort.
*Accept God’s forgiveness and grace.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His Grace.
*Forgive others who have sinned against you.
The result will be healing, God-given peace in your soul.
