Ephesians 4:22-24
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Continual Growth in Christian Character is Needed
Philippians 3:12-14
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend
that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
