Because of Adam's sin every human being needs new life.

Ecclesiastes 7:20
20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Free Gift
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
There is no way to earn this free gift. All that is necessary is belieft in Jesus as your personal saviour.

Colossians 1:22
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Eternal life = eternal union of the soul with God. While salvation costs us nothing it cost Jesus His life and separation from His Father.

Receive by Faith
Acts 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
By faith we repent of our sins and turn to God for Salvation

Everlasting Life
John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
New values, new motivations, new family and spiritual possessions.

Power to life the Christian life

The new nature must be cultivated spiritually to grow in Christ.

Promise
Titus 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
There is no need to doubt salvation. Be careful not to base your salvation on emotional feelings.

I John 3:24
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Though we can enjoy confidence and peace given by the Spirit that we have passed from death unto life, we can also enjoy the blessing of knowing our heavenly Father will hear and answer our prayers.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

One who has obtained this changed life will find a new love for:
